The Wired Campus has an article (“What Should Go in a Museum of Internet History?“) about the effort of Douglas Gale to create a public exhibit featuring the artifacts and oral histories he has been collecting for the last five years that detail the creation of the Internet. The organization Gale has created to help with the creation and funding of the museum, the Internet History Archive, details the goals of the project and the background to Gale’s efforts. It it is amazing how far we have come, and to me the Internet still seems like a new technology even though I probably could not make it through a day without it.
