Long Day

Yesterday was a long day for me, and not because of work at the apotheke. We put in our usual day’s work, nothing really different happened – except for Bill’s unprovoked assault on my choice of music to listen to while the reading pottery. He made several unkind remarks about 80s music and his rather unflattering view of the groups I have chosen to listen to. For clarity, he did not attack all 80s music, just my choice of 80’s music. This led to a half hour argument, since I naturally attacked his choice of music. This might have slowed down the potter reading a bit. Anyway, after we finished up for the day, I had to run to the airport to pick up Brandon Olson, who is our Hellenistic ceramics expert and so part of Team Ceramics…Team Pottery?…Team Kick Ass? – I’ll work on a better name and get back to you. The ride to the airport from Polis in the afternoon took one hour and fifty minutes and the ride back took one hour and forty minutes.

Anyway, after we finished up for the day, I had to run to the airport to pick up Brandon Olson, who is our Hellenistic ceramics expert and so is an integral part of Team Ceramics…Team Pottery?…Team Kick Ass? – (I’ll work on a better name and get back to you). The ride to the airport from Polis in the afternoon took one hour and fifty minutes and the ride back took one hour and forty minutes. The airport was super crowded at that time of the day, and so I did not get back to Polis until 9 and then we had a late supper. This resulted in me staying up late trying to catch up on email and other things, and I did not get a lot of sleep. This is all to say that I am really dragging this morning, and not in a great mood. I’ve got a few minutes before we head out to the apotheke so I guess the best thing to do is to do some research on various topics I can use to attack Bill to pay him back for the unfair assault on my music. Time well spent.
