So, since it has been a while since I last blogged, I will give it another shot. Particularly since I am back in Cyprus, I can once again focus on a very important aspect of my time on Cyprus – potato chip flavors (see below for previous research). For the last few years I have been trying out flavors not usually found in the US – with very mixed results. To date, prawn cocktail remains my favorite flavor on the island.
Today’s test flavor is Lays Sensations – Japanese Teriyaki. It was interesting, not much teriyaki flavor. It was very subtle and was only really detectable as I went through the bag. I give it a *****(5) out of 10, putting it as a middle of the road flavor. I will say that I have not been able to find many new flavors to test, so we will see what I can find tomorrow.

Perhaps you could branch out into appropriate beverage research. Do Lay’s Cream Cheese and Bacon go best with Coke or Fanta (for example)?
