The iPad has only been out a short time, but its first competitor is already on the horizon. Today, HP released details about its new slate computer which will arrive later this year. The HP computer will include some features not available on the iPad, such as 2 video cameras and support for Flash. For more info, check out the short video on it that HP posted on its site. I am sure HP was encouraged by the number of people who bought an iPad recently – Apple reported that about 300,000 iPads were sold Saturday, The question is whether this indicates a strong market for the device, or a strong market for Apple products – a big difference.
