Roman shipwrecks discovered

A team of archaeologists (Aurora Trust) announced the discovery of 5 Roman shipwrecks near the island of Ventotene. The five wrecks ranged in date from the 1st century BC to the fifth century AD. The wrecks were discovered using a side-scan sonar survey of the region.
