PKAP Rolling in Rome

Well, I gave our paper today at the 17th International Congress of Classical Archaeology. The conference site was at the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) building in Rome. It was like addressing the UN, the conference room looked just like it with flags of the countries and little earpieces for listening to the speaker. I think the paper went well, nobody stood up and criticized it – actually nobody had any questions about it. But, I think it was one of our better papers, and Bill and Dave did a good job on it.There were about 40 people in attendance and never having been to this particular conference, I was a bit nervous – but it went well. Anyway, it is done, and now I plan to do a bit of sight-seeing in Rome, actually a lot. Ciao for now.
