For the last 2 weeks, at almost every committee meeting I have been to, the subject of Chrome comes up. Chrome is Google’s entry into the browser arena. To be honest, I am sick of it already. These conversations almost always go the same way. A technogeek or wannabe technogeek finds a way to work Chrome into the conversation, no matter the topic – technology, curriculum, football, the weather, etc. Naturally someone will ask for an explanation of further information and eventually a Chrome versus IE versus Firefox argument ensues. Now, while this would be entertaining if it came to blows, it unfortunately never does. [Note: I am not advocating violence at committee meetings, I am merely pointing out that they would be a lot more fun.]. In the interest of providing some light on the subject, without doing any real work, I found this nice summary of the three browsers.
