A few random things that caught my attention today:
- A colleague suggested I check out “The Decline and Fall of the 49ers Empire,” which is an article that compares the San Francisco 49ers rise and fall to that of Rome – worth reading if you like Roman history and football.
- “Israel to Display the Dead Seas Scrolls on the Internet” – Over the next two years a team of scholars will digitally photograph the Dead Sea Scrolls for eventual on-line display. This will be a major breakthrough for many scholars who have been waiting for access to the scrolls for many years.
