Episode 9 of PKAP’s 2nd documentary, Emerging Cypriot, (simply entitled "Geophysical") is now available for viewing on line. This short covers a new avenue of exploration for PKAP last season, electrical resistivity. John Hunt and Michael Brown oversaw this aspect of the project and its results turned out to be more exciting than anything we could have imagined as the outline of a possible Early Christian basilica was uncovered on the heights of Vigla. This work really helped shape our planned work for this season and really has me excited about this season. We obtained permission from the Cypriot DOA to conduct limited soundings to check on the accuracy of the resistivity survey.
