Another day of fieldwork is done and we only have a half day (Friday morning) before the weekend arrives. Tomorrow is the day we have planned for our group photo and we will probably use a good bit of the morning before we get it just right. It has been a very good week, but I am still looking forward to resting up a bit. It is quite a shock to be the oldest person on the project at 41. I have been married longer than the youngest person on the project – that certainly makes me feel old. And then there are the constant jokes about me being old – hard of hearing, etc. I always respond with my philosophical views on aging – Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill.
