Today was a very busy and productive day. We spent the morning in the museum cataloguing artifacts and washing the new pottery collected by the fieldteams. It felt very good to begin the final analysis process for many of our artifacts. Over the past two summers, they have been washed, photographed, labeled, and identified in a bsaaic way. Now, they are being reexamined to refine their initial identification and drawn. Once they complete this process, they will be ready for long term storage at the Larnaka Disrict Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon we conducted more field survey and mapped out grids for the fieldteams to survey tomorrow. I will post some pictures this weekend to brighten up the pages.
